Click this--> Femme 6 debut performance at the Ottobar!
This video is of my first burlesque performance as Femme 6 at the Ottobar as part of the Charming Flip Kittys Baltimore Polesque Troupe's "Fire and Ice" show on Sunday, January 24th. The songs are "The Heat" by Angulie and "Trains and Winter Rains" by Enya; original track mixing by Femme 6. The host of the show is the wonderful and talented Paco Fish. Enjoy!

By the way, I think I'm going to start calling acts like this "Burlesqueer". If I have just coined this term, you heard it here first! And don't you forget it. :)
This is a shorter version, so I recommend the YouTube video above.
I am an emerging Baltimore-based burlesque performance artist developing my own unique, quirky style of feminist and gender-queering striptease by drawing creative ideas from my other lives as both an actor and a Women, Gender an Sexuality Studies scholar.

Introduction
I have just created this blog to document the lifespan of my new persona, Femme 6. This is not a personal blog, but one intended to provide access to my perspectives, information on upcoming performances, and archival material associated with my performance personality. Through this medium I hope to reach an audience willing to engage in thoughtful, respectful discussion and query, as well as any "fan base" I may acquire as a performance artist.
