I am an emerging Baltimore-based burlesque performance artist developing my own unique, quirky style of feminist and gender-queering striptease by drawing creative ideas from my other lives as both an actor and a Women, Gender an Sexuality Studies scholar.
Wow, performing in Vive La Decadence was SO much fun! All the performers were original, quirky, sassy and sexy! This was my very first burlesque-burlesque performance (as opposed to my debut polesque performance!), and I am learning A LOT. Watching some of the other acts as well as the experience of performing my own acts has made me realize that there is still more that I am capable of. Especially after reviewing the video of my performance (EEK!), I am becoming aware of what works and what still needs a little more polish to really help me shine. I am so grateful to Paco FIsh for letting me come on board for this show! Also, gotta give a shout out to my bombshell-gorgeous dance partner in my two duet acts, Roma Mafia. Love you girl!
